Expansion

Keeping in view the needs of the people, the government has changed the facility of free Wi-Fi in the cities. Now free Wi-Fi facility will be provided at 10 places in big cities i.e. cities with more than one million and five places in small cities. Earlier it was proposed to provide free Wi-Fi at five places in big cities and two in smaller cities. Additional Chief Secretary Urban Development Dr. Rajneesh Dubey has issued an order in this regard. Departmental sources say that preparations are being made to launch this scheme from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the first week of October. It has been said in the mandate that the government will provide this facility at bus stand, near railway station, tehsil, court, block, registrar offices, main markets, hospitals etc. Providing free Wi-Fi facility under Mission Yuva is an important goal of the state government.
