The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is preparing for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, has released the list of 100 candidates leaving behind all the parties on Wednesday. However, at present, he has been made a potential candidate as in-charge. Later, if any wrong record comes out against someone, then it can also be changed. Keeping in mind the backward caste vote bank of the state, AAP has declared maximum 35 candidates from backward castes. Apart from this, efforts have also been made to cultivate all castes.

Party’s state in-charge and MP Sanjay Singh released the list in front of the media at the party’s state office. He said that in the list of 100 candidates, names of 35 backward castes, 20 Brahmins, 16 Dalits and five Muslim castes are included. He informed that soon the second list of candidates will be released.

The AAP MP said that preference has been given to all sections in the list. People from all walks of life have been included in the list from doctors, engineers, advocates, graduates, post graduates to youth, farmers.

In the first list released by AAP, candidates and in-charge have been declared for 21 assembly constituencies of Awadh region. These include 7 from Lucknow, 5 from Barabanki, 4 from Sitapur, 2 from Sultanpur, 3 from Ayodhya.
