Amethi. Within a week, there has been a stir in the health department due to the finding of the third possible dengue patient in the local CHC area. During treatment at the Joint District Hospital, when his health deteriorated, the doctors referred him to the Medical College Lucknow. As soon as the information was received, the health team of CHC reached the village and started distributing medicine kits along with examining the fever victims.
Rati Pal (65), a resident of Bhagwanpur village of the local CHC area, is suffering from cold fever since last September 7. The family members were getting them treated at a quacks located in the Baramasi market of the area. On Friday, after not getting relief in three days, the family went to the Joint District Hospital Gauriganj with Ratipal. There, his card test was found to be dengue positive.
Doctors took his sample and sent it to Lucknow for ELISA examination. Seeing Ratipal’s health deteriorating late on Friday evening, doctors immediately referred him to Lucknow Medical College. On Saturday, the medical team led by CHC Superintendent Dr. Saurabh Singh reached the village and started investigating the family members and other villagers.
Dr. Saurabh Singh said that after the report came positive in the card, the slide has been sent to Lucknow for examination. Told that the pathology examination of the family members of Ratipal was done in which all the people were found negative. Anti-infective drugs are being sprayed in the village. Let us inform that five days ago, Karmaraj Singh and Swayambar Singh’s purva resident Om Prakash were found dengue positive in Bada Ramnathpur village of CHC area.
