Gauriganj (Amethi). All the primary schools in the district, which were closed for 161 days due to Kovid-19, were opened for students from Wednesday. There was chaos on the first day in most of the schools. In many schools, students were seen without masks.
However, in some schools there was an unprecedented reception of children. All the children in these schools were wearing masks. The relative numbers of children enrolled on the first day were also very low in almost most schools.
All 1,732 primary schools in the district were closed since 24 March 2021 due to the second wave of Corona. Out of these, one lakh 31 thousand 296 students are registered. Chaos prevailed in most schools on the first day.
In many schools where children went without masks, in many schools they were seen flouting social distance. In many schools, children were welcomed by applying roli-sandalwood vaccine. On the first day, the attendance of students was very less in most of the schools.
