At the end of trading, the 30-share Sensex of Bombay Stock Exchange lost 323.34 points or 0.55 per cent to close at 58340.99. Nifty also closed at 17415.05, up 88.30 points or 0.50 per cent. The Sensex had fallen as much as 508 points at the end of the day’s trading. Today there was a tremendous jump in the shares of Paytm and HDFC Bank.

Sensex opened with a gain of 53 points
The stock market opened with an increase on the third trading day of the week. BSE’s Sensex and NSE’s Nifty started trading in the green. Sensex started trading with a gain of 53 points at 58,717 level, while Nifty gained 21 points to start trading at 17,524 level.

Four days of lethargy was broken on Tuesday
The four-day continuous decline in the stock market was finally over when the market closed on Tuesday. After this, on Wednesday also Sensex and Nifty started trading on the green mark. On the last trading day, the Sensex closed at 58664.55 with a gain of 198.44 points or 0.34 per cent. Along with this, NSE’s Nifty also climbed 86.80 points or 0.50 per cent to close at 17503.35.
