The UP government has released the academic calendar for 2021-22. Under this, quarterly and half yearly examinations have also been made compulsory in the annual courses of state universities and affiliated colleges.
In view of such circumstances in future, the Department of Higher Education has made quarterly and half yearly examinations mandatory in the annual courses as well. The government has also given the facility to cancel the winter vacation to make the session regular. Along with this, the option of calling the teachers in two phases has also been given by giving summer vacation of 15 days. Except maternity leave, teachers and employees will be given long leave only when it is absolutely necessary. Condolence meetings and condolence meetings will also be organized in universities and colleges after three o’clock in the afternoon.
Academic session will end on August 20
The academic session 2021-22 will end this time on August 20 next year. Earlier the session used to run till June 30. Where the Choice Base Credit System has been implemented, the undergraduate first semester classes will start from 13 September. Under the already ongoing semester and annual system, the first year classes of graduation will be started from September 13 itself. The mid term examinations will be held from 01 November to 10 December. In semester courses, the first semester examinations will be held from January 24 to February 28 and the second semester examinations will be held from July 1 to August 3. The final results will be declared by August 20. In the annual courses, the second term examinations will be held in February and the annual examinations will be held from June 1 to July 15. The next academic session will start from 22nd August.
