Rss Says Make The Government Broad Consensus On Population Control And Uniform Civil Code

According to sources, the Sangh believes that both are important issues, but a comprehensive discussion is necessary before they can be legalized, as there is doubt about them in a section of the society. The Sangh says that there is a general belief that a consensus will help in dealing with any kind of tension that may build up in the society regarding these issues.

However, there is a demand from within the BJP to enact a law on both of them. Sangh sources also say that before the introduction of the three agricultural laws in Parliament, there was no consultation with it earlier. Even before the decision to withdraw them, no information was given to him.

Sources said that the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS), an association that deals with agriculture and farmers’ issues, had sent a draft to be included in the agricultural laws, but it was not fully considered. BKS is also in favor of enacting a law guaranteeing MSP to ensure remunerative price for the crop to the farmers.
