Roadways Will Provide 2600 Buses In Nine States Including Haryana On Diwali

On Diwali, 2600 roadways buses will provide their services in nine states including Haryana. Keeping in view the facilities of the passengers, the roadways has launched 2523 buses on the route since November 1. During this, the roadways also transported the candidates to their destination hundreds of kilometers away during the constable recruitment examination.

Apart from 2600 buses till November 6, additional buses will be run immediately if needed. 500 buses have been kept in reserve in depots across the state. As soon as there is more congestion on any route, the same bus will be sent. The general manager of the depot is keeping a close watch on the condition of the bus stands.

Daily updated reports are being sent from the depot to Principal Secretary, Transport Department, Kala Ramachandran and Director General Dr. Virendra Dahiya. Instructions have been given to the General Managers that people should not be allowed to face any problem during the festival. Do not allow crowds to gather at bus stands.

Director General of Transport Virendra Dahiya said that 187 buses for Uttar Pradesh, 206 for Rajasthan, 317 for Delhi, 118 for Punjab, 60 for Uttarakhand, 80 for Himachal Pradesh, 18 for Jammu and Kashmir and Chandigarh besides Haryana. driving for. Buses have covered 9 kms daily.

From November 1 to November 3, an average of 5 lakh people traveled in roadways buses every day. This figure is expected to increase further on Diwali. Due to holidays, people started leaving for their homes from last Friday itself. Due to this, not much crowd gathered at the bus stands.
