Indian Railways has started easing the restrictions implemented so far due to Corona infection. Meanwhile, there is news that the Central Railway has decided to reduce the price of platform tickets. Giving information about this, Anil Kumar Kumar Lahoti, General Manager, Central Railway said that the platform ticket price at CSMT, Dadar, LTT, Thane, Kalyan and Panvel stations has now been reduced to Rs.10. Earlier it was priced at Rs 50 per person.

Meanwhile, the Railways has decided to provide special facilities to the passengers who have got both the doses of Corona Vaccine. Lahoti informed that the Railways has integrated the UTS mobile app with the Universal Pass of the Government of Maharashtra. This will allow fully vaccinated local passengers to book tickets on their phones. This facility of UTS app for local train pass can be used from tomorrow morning onwards.
