An action plan has been prepared to fill potholes on the roads in UP. This campaign will run for two months. It will cost about Rs 283 crore.

PWD Head of Department Rakesh Saxena said that from October 15 to 30 and again from November 15 to 30, the work done under the pit liberation campaign will be verified. This verification will be done through the teams of PWD Headquarters and local district administration.
Government officials will also visit the spot for verification. Any deficiencies found will be asked to be rectified immediately. Despite this, if potholes are found in the roads, then action will be taken against the officials concerned.
