Inflation is skyrocketing in Pakistan due to the rise in the value of the rupee and the recent new tax policies implemented by the government. In such a situation, the Federal Minister of Pakistan Ali Amin Gandapur has given strange advice to the people of Pakistan. He said that he should put less sugar in tea and eat less rotis. Ali made this statement while speaking at a meeting in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The Federal Minister for PoK and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, while commenting on the debate on inflation in Pakistan, asked that if I put a hundred grains of sugar in tea and add nine less grains, will it become less sweet? He said, can’t we even sacrifice so much for our country, for our self-reliance? If I eat a hundred bites of bread, can I not reduce it to nine bites?

By sharing this speech on social media, people are strongly condemning him. Recently, Riyaz Fatyana, a member of the National Assembly of Imran Khan’s Party (PTI), also gave similar advice. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also asked the people of Pakistan to eat less bread at some point.
