One lakh youth will be linked with industries and MSME units in the next six months in Uttar Pradesh. Under the Chief Minister’s Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme by the Department of Skills, 50 thousand youth in MSME and 50 thousand youth in government, non-government, cooperative, corporation and private industries will be placed on training. During the period of training, the youth will be given an allowance of Rs 2500 per month. Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has given instructions to start its preparations.

Apart from this, 35 thousand youth will be given skill training in various heavy industries operating in the state in the Industrial Development Department. At the same time, 5 thousand from Health and Family Welfare Department, one thousand in Urban Development Department, five thousand in Irrigation Department, 400 in Rural Engineering Department, 100 in Tourism Department, two thousand in Secondary and Higher Education Department, in Medical Education Department One thousand, 600 in vocational and skill department, one thousand in technical education, four thousand in public works, eight thousand in energy department, 800 in transport department, eight thousand in agriculture sugarcane, horticulture and food processing and cooperative departments, animal husbandry and milk Eight thousand in development department, five thousand in housing and planning, 160 in UP housing development council, 80 in UP project corporation and 4200 youth in Panchayati Raj department will be trained to enhance their efficiency.

State government official said that under the scheme, the government’s vision of making youth hubs in every district is also being realized. With this, skilled youth will be able to move forward for self-employment.
