About 8 thousand properties across the state are registered with the board. Some part of the income from these is received by the board as perquisite. Out of this comes the salary and departmental expenses of the employees.
In order to ensure that the employees get their salaries on time and there is no problem in other expenses, grants are given by the government from time to time, but due to non-receipt of the grant for the last four years, the salaries of the employees became arrears. Board employee Muntazir Mehndi told that letters were sent to the government many times, but the grant has not been released yet.

Muntazir Mehndi told that there are 15 employees in the board. His salary and other expenses are about one crore annually while the income is 33 lakh rupees. Due to non-receipt of grant, financial crisis has arisen in front of the employees.
