This world class model station is developed on the lines of international airport
Rani Kamalapati Railway Station of Madhya Pradesh is the first world class model station in the country, where all facilities have been provided to the passengers on the lines of an international airport. This station has been developed under public-private partnership. The total cost of the Rani Kamalapati station project is about Rs 450 crore.

There are separate entry and exit gates to control the crowd. Escalators and lifts have been installed at the station to reach the platforms. Seating arrangements have been made for 700 to 1,100 passengers in the open concourse. Display boards of different languages ​​have been put up all over the station for information about the movement of trains. The station will also have a food court, restaurant, air-conditioned waiting room, hostel, VIP lounge. Around 160 CCTV cameras have also been installed at the station for round the clock surveillance.

November 15 will be celebrated as ‘Tribal Pride Day’
The Madhya Pradesh government on Friday wrote to the Center asking it to name the Habibganj railway station in Bhopal after the tribal queen Rani Kamalapati. According to a letter from the state transport department, the renaming of the station as per the decision of the central government will also mark November 15 as ‘Tribal Pride Day’ in the memory of respected tribal leader and freedom fighter Birsa Munda.
