On November 3, on the day of Choti Deepawali, the tourism department will set a new world record by breaking its own previous record by lighting 7.50 lakh diyas simultaneously in Ayodhya. The department has planned to prepare a new theme to make Deepotsav a program of international level.
Addressing the virtual meeting organized in the Tourism Department, Principal Secretary Mukesh Meshram said that grand tableaux would be arranged from Saket Mahavidyalaya to Ram Katha Park on behalf of the Information Department in the Deepotsav. He directed to present interesting, contemporary and practical tableaux. He said that the work of branding of the function would also be done by the information department itself. He informed that digital Ramayana will be exhibited by the Culture Department in Ram Vanagaman Marg, Shilp Bazaar, Museum premises.
Along with this, beautiful and attractive tableaux will be presented by the parties of Bhopal, Bihar, Gonda and Ayodhya. Traditional folk dance will be presented by 24 parties. Apart from this, cultural and other programs will be held. On the occasion of Deepotsav, works related to the exhibition of crafts, exhibition of paintings and staging the global journey of Shri Ram will also be done by the Culture Department.
He said that arrangements for lamps, wicks, oil and volunteers would be made by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia University, Ayodhya to light 7.50 lakh diyas simultaneously on Ram ki Paidi in Deepotsav-2021. Special Secretary Tourism Manoj Kumar, Joint Director Tourism Avinash Chandra Mishra, Assistant Director Information Rishi Saxena and other officers were present in the meeting.
