On Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave home entry to 26 families in this magnificent integrated rural township by giving them the keys of their houses. Talking to the families of the township through virtual medium, the local people told about the merits of the township, then suddenly the CM also said, Wow! Londonpur seems to be the real London.

These days, Arvind Singh, posted as the Vice-Chairman of Kanpur Development Authority, narrated the complete story of township development in front of the Chief Minister. On Wednesday, he was specially called by the government for this innovative work in a program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence. Arvind Singh told in the presentation that he prepared a model for PM Awas Yojana in Londonpur Grunt village of district Lakhimpur Kheri, giving benefits of 30 other schemes of central and state government. In this, a gated township was developed for 26 very poor families of scheduled caste and landless, which had all the facilities. No additional grant was taken from the government for free housing to all for this township of poor with boundary wall and gate.

Convergence of 30 schemes of 10 departments, arrangements were made for every house, electricity, gas connection, park, light, cowshed, cow, all. Appreciating Arvind Singh for the thinking of this innovative scheme and its successful implementation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed to implement this model in the entire state.
