Today is the day of results for the seats of the sixth phase of Bihar Panchayat elections. After the polling in 57 blocks of 37 districts on November 3, the counting of votes in all the seats has started from 8 am on Saturday. According to the Election Commission, the counting of votes will start from today and will continue on Sunday. This is the first time that the results are being declared after 10 o’clock in any phase of voting. Due to Diwali and Chhath, the date of counting of votes was extended by the State Election Commission.

Unopposed election on 3540 posts out of 26 thousand
In the sixth phase, polling has been held for 26 thousand 200 posts. In this phase, uncontested election has been held for 3540 posts. In this, 135 candidates have been elected unopposed for the post of Gram Panchayat member, 3403 for the post of Gram Kachari Panch, one for the post of Sarpanch and one candidate for the post of Panchayat Samiti.

How many seats will result
In the sixth phase, polling has been held for 26 thousand 200 posts. In this, 11,592 of Gram Panchayat member, 848 of Mukhiya, 1186 of Panchayat Samiti member, 134 of Zilla Parishad member, 11,592 of Gram Kachari Panch, 848 posts of Sarpanch have been voted. In this, the number of male candidates is 43,840 and the number of female candidates is 50,348.
