In fact, ever since the general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra became the in-charge of UP, there has been a special emphasis on the activism of the organization. During his time the first PCC was shortened so that meetings could be held easily. So far, the committee has been changed three times. Every time some office bearers were thrown out of the committee. The names of the office bearers to be removed are not mentioned. The basis for such a decision is said to be only inaction.
According to sources, the high command has given green signal to many leaders involved in the State Congress Committee to contest the elections. Many of these leaders are currently in charge of more than 7-8 districts. Wherever they have to report the work done to the high command.
Being busy with election preparations, they will find it difficult to fulfill the responsibility of these districts. Therefore the districts under the charge of these office bearers can be reduced. The office bearers who do not do the work of the organization properly and stay away from the mass movements will be removed. A party leader, requesting anonymity, said the reshuffle list is almost ready. It will be released as soon as Priyanka Gandhi’s formal seal is received.
