All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) general secretary Abhishek Banerjee claimed in Agartala on Sunday that our party (Trinamool Congress) will win and form the government in the 2023 assembly elections in Tripura. Banerjee promised that the BJP’s “misrule” in the state would be ended once the Trinamool Congress (TMC) formed the government.

Abhishek Banerjee, nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, further said that our party will implement the Bengal model of governance here to take this north-eastern state on the path of development. He was addressing a public meeting at Rabindra Shatabdi Bhawan here. Here he fiercely attacked the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.
