96 Countries Have Approved Covaxin And Covishield Vaccines Against Coronavirus News In Hindi

Two vaccines have been prepared in India against the corona virus epidemic. One of these is indigenous Covaxin made by Bharat Biotech of Hyderabad and the other is Covishield, developed by Oxford and AstraZeneca and produced by Serum Institute of India. So far, both these vaccines have been recognized by 96 countries around the world.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Tuesday that the World Health Organization (WHO) has placed eight vaccines on the Emergency Use List (EUL). We are happy to share that these also include Covaxin and Covishield, both vaccines from India. Since then, both these vaccines have been recognized by 96 countries around the world.

Such is the status of vaccination in India at present
So far, more than 109 crore doses of anti-coronavirus vaccines have been administered in the country. Talking about Tuesday alone, till 5 pm, more than 48 lakh 73 thousand doses have been applied across the country. So far 74 crore 49 lakh 78 thousand 288 people have been given both doses of vaccine and 35 crore six lakh 70 thousand 932 people in the country so far.

States have 15.92 crore doses of vaccines
The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that 15.92 crore doses of Kovid vaccines are still available with the states and union territories. The ministry said that more than 116 crore doses of vaccines have been provided to the states and union territories so far and the pace of vaccination campaign is being increased by maintaining availability.

Vaccination campaign started on 16 January
The nationwide vaccination campaign against the corona epidemic in India was started on 16 January. In its first phase, health workers were vaccinated. At the same time, from February 2, the frontline personnel were brought under its purview. On May 1, the central government included all people above the age of 18 years under the ambit of vaccination.
