To improve the health of the air of the capital, the municipal corporation passed the budget.

About Rs 74 crore crore will be spent to improve the health of the air in the capital. On one hand, while greenery will be increased in the parks, on the other hand green corridors will be constructed on the markets and major roads.
Along with this, those measures will also be worked out, which will reduce the dust and hustle on the major roads. The Municipal Corporation will also select a consultant for this.
It is to be known that this time the central government has given special emphasis on improving the quality of air instead of other construction of roads and drains under the head of 15th Finance.
The budget to be released under the head of the 15th Finance is also to be spent on the same works which are related to air quality improvement.
This includes increasing the greenery of the parks, making green corridors, correcting the road tracks of major roads so that dust does not fly and the use of small road sweeping machines so that they can be operated easily even on less wide roads.
Similarly, C&D Waste Centers will be set up so that there is no pollution from the garbage coming out of multi-storey buildings.
Green buffer zone will be made in the markets
The markets in which green corridors and buffer zones will be made include those five model markets, whose proposal was passed by the Municipal Corporation House. These include Aminabad, Yehiyaganj, Chowk, Bhootnath and Alambagh markets.
Green corridor will be built here
Along Shaheed Path, 50 meters along Vikramaditya Marg and railway line, IIM Tiraha Sitapur Road, IIM Tiraha to Yadav Tiraha, Yadav Tiraha to Hardoi Road, Airport VIP Entry to Kanpur Road, Vijaypur Underpass to Pickup Bhawan and IGP Chauraha From Faizabad Road.
Plants that give more oxygen will be installed in the parks
The city’s 381 undeveloped and 325 semi-developed parks will be fully developed. 34.57 crore will be spent on this. Those plants will be planted more in the parks which give the most oxygen. Narrow plants and Mangal Vatika will also be developed to develop ecological system.

Road sweeping machines with ten small fogging batteries will be introduced.
Five anti smog guns will be brought.
Green corridors will be built on major routes.
C&D Waste Center will be set up for waste disposal
– The water of the drains will be treated with bioremediation technology.

This time dedicated fund has come for air quality improvement. Due to which only the work of improving the air quality will be done. An action plan has been made regarding this. Several tenders have also been floated. Some are about to be released.
